Ellies Reception ("we," "us," or "our") provides live virtual receptionist and call-answering services for small businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to elliesreception.com — if you become a client, the handling of your business's call and customer data is governed separately by your service agreement with us, not by this page.

Information We Collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, through the two forms on this site.

Contact form. The contact form on our homepage asks for:

• Your full name
• Your business name
• Your business phone number
• Your email address
• Your industry (optional)
• Which plan you're interested in (optional)
• Any additional details you choose to share (optional)

Client intake form. If you become a client, we'll ask you to complete a client intake form so we can set up your account. It asks about your business and how you'd like your calls handled, including:

• Your business name, address, website, and a description of what your business does
• Your hours of operation, time zone, and after-hours preferences
• Your preferred greeting, and how to handle common call types, sales calls, and urgent calls
• Your scheduling and calendar preferences
• Answers to questions your callers commonly ask
• How you'd like to be notified about new leads, and the email address, phone number, or CRM details for that
• Names and phone numbers for urgent-call contacts, backup contacts, VIP callers, or callers to screen out, if you choose to provide them
• Your service start date, your typed name, and the date you signed

If you share contact details for other people, such as a backup contact or VIP callers, please make sure you have their permission to do so.

We do not collect any of this information unless you voluntarily submit the relevant form.

What We Don't Collect

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising-tracking scripts of any kind. We don't track your browsing behavior, build an advertising profile, or collect information about your device beyond what's described in "Hosting & Third-Party Services" below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, follow up about our services, and — if you become a client — to set up and deliver the service you've signed up for. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Hosting & Third-Party Services

Two third-party services help run this website, and each handles a limited amount of data as part of that:

• Web3Forms processes contact-form and client-intake-form submissions and delivers them to us by email. Your submitted information passes through their systems in transit — see Web3Forms' Privacy Policy for details on how they handle it.
• Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and, like virtually any web host, may automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address and request timestamps) as part of ordinary web server operation — see Netlify's Privacy Policy for details.

Data Retention

We keep the information you submit for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, and — if you become a client — for the duration of our business relationship plus a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your Rights" below).

Your Rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you've submitted to us at any time by reaching out through our contact form. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law — for example, California residents have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We'll honor valid requests to the extent required by law.

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy
